Come join us at the Old Jail for a delicious, delectable, and delightful chocolate lovers event. Enjoy steaming cups of hot chocolate, a chocolate fountain, and homemade chocolate treats to satisfy the chocolate lover in you! Come and take home a box! Tickets only $10 per guest.

Mountain Grove High School Alumni Reunion
-Independence Day Weekend
Falling on the weekend closest to July 4th, the reunion focuses on Saturday. The day kicks off with a parade, followed by a Bar-B-Q at the Alumni Memorial Park. The day closes with a catered dinner, hosted by the 25th Year Reunion class. The Central Arts Center Historic Preservation Committee conducts historic tours of Mountain Grove on a passenger bus, and the History and Arts Center is open to the public.
Fallfest :: Oktoberfest
Held in October, along the town square locally produced crafts, local food vendors, and live music! The Central Arts Council has open house at the Mountain Grove History and Arts Center, and showcases local artists and street performers.

Historical Tour of Mountain Grove

The Central Arts Center Historic Preservation Committee conducts historic tours of Mountain Grove on a passenger bus. Our guide takes you back in time to the first fur trading post started by Samuel Hardin of the McClurg Fur Company, through the first town square and the Civil War, into the Great War, the Great Depression, and on through WWII and the present. You'll see some of the first homes and churches of Mountain Grove and even learn about other local businesses and community attractions.
